John E. Fedele

Lawyers Service Center Inc.'s founder and president, John E. Fedele's legal practice has concentrated in estate and business planning involving taxes, estate administration, and corporate law. For years colleagues with specialties in other areas of the law have called on him and his associates for advice and assistance in estate planning for their clients. This continuing demand led to Mr. Fedele's creation of sophisticated and unique software specifically designed for estate planning. It also led to the establishment of Lawyers Service Center, Inc. and the resulting availability of a very broad estate planning expertise to the entire legal community.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Fedele served as Director of Estate Planning in the Law Department of The New England Mutual Life Insurance Company. He is a former instructor at both Bentley College and Northeastern University where he taught courses in federal income taxation and employee benefit planning. He is a frequent lecturer at tax and legal seminars and has published several articles on legal and tax matters.

A member of the Massachusetts bar, the United States Supreme Court bar, and the bars of the United States District Court of Massachusetts and United States Tax Court, Mr. Fedele holds an A.B. degree from Boston College, a J.D. degree, magna cum laude, and an L.L.M. degree in taxation from Boston University. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association and its Taxation Section, the Boston Estate Planning Council, and is an Executive Officer of the Norfolk County Estate and Business Planning Council.
